back Structured Wiring

Structured Wiring.

First off all, what is it and why do I want it?

What we used to say for the last 10 or so years, is that it is the "wiring of the future." Well, with technology advancing as fast as it has, the future is here. Structured Wiring in your home or office, centralizes your Phone, Internet (networking), and your cable in one central place.

Phone: The benefits for Structured Wiring in your home for phone is that we use Cat5 wiring. What is this and why do you want it? Remember how much of a pain it was "back in the day" to add a phone line to your home? Especially nowadays, when we have a home phone, home offices, then we still need a fax line? We use Cat5 wire and it allows us to easily put up to 4 lines per phone hookup. If more are wanted or needed, just ask. We'll take care of it.

Cable: Why is this important, I have satellite? It's important because both Cable and Satellite both use Coax Cable. We use RG6 Coax cable, which is a higher quality cable than the past and some people still use today. Since all of your cabling is centralized it allows us to easily connect to the Satellite and/or Cable to satisfy all of your TV viewing needs or preferences. When we run the cable to each of your tv locations, if something unforeseen changes, all we have to do is go to the Structured wiring panel and make the proper adjustments.

Computer Networking/Internet:
One of the benefits, above centralizing the cabling in your home is that it allows you to easily connect all electronic devices to the internet and for more advanced users, transfer files between devices within your home. Another advantage to Structured Wiring, for those that have larger homes or homes that have weak wifi signals in areas of the home, it enables us to securely set up multiple wifi hotspots in your home.

You want a connected home to add security, peace of mind, energy savings and convenience to day-to-day activities.
